Camping

"Camping" to us means staying in a developed campground. This can be done in a tent, trailer, or RV. Most include some combination of water, electricity, and sewer hookups. Some campgrounds, like many in the National Forests, have no hookups but we still consider them campgrounds.

We started with an a-frame pop-up trailer, upscaled to a 28 foot towable, then a large 32 foot C Class, and finally a small 22 foot Winnebago Spirit C Class. We really like the smaller size as it is easier to drive and park.

Arizona

Lake Havasu State Park is located on the north side of Lake Havasu City. A fun place for water sports on the "lake" which is really the Colorado River. Brutally hot in the summer months.

Picacho Peak State Park is about 40 miles north of Tucson on I-10. There is hiking and scenic views. The sunsets and sunrises can be spectacular. Their electricity and excellent WiFi at the park.

Nevada

Las Vegas

We like to go to Las Vegas and when we do we stay in our RV at the Oasis RV Resort just south of the strip.

There are lots of things to see and do in Las Vegas.
