Water Craft

We have owned many kayaks throughout the years, starting with Perception (30 years ago) Swifty, and then upgrading to Wilderness Systems Pungo kayaks for us to do multi-day trips down rivers. We've also owned Wilderness Systems Tarpon kayaks, an inflatable two person kayak, and a tandem Ocean Kayak. The older we've gotten, the less we did long trips and the storage space of the Pungo was no longer a necessity. We also found that we really like a two person kayak where we can talk while we are out. The inflatable did not survive the second trip out (got a hole), so we are not a fan on spending huge amounts of money on one of those. When going from a towable trailer (pulled by a truck) to an RV, we lost the truck to carry the kayaks on our trips. We more recently bought ORU Haven Tandem kayak. This is something we can easily carry in the RV or its tow vehicle. It is more expensive than other kayaks we've owned, but hopeful it is the last one we will buy.

This 16 foot tandem kayak is AMAZING it folds down into a self contained 41 pound box (34" wide x 17" deep x 29" high) for transport. This is our now our favorite kayak.
